There are a number of back roads that are perfect for hiking or running in Seeley’s Bay. Three that stand out are:
The 3km loop from the village to Haskin’s Point. Need a break in between there is a lovely seating area overlooking the water at the point and if it is really hot – take a refreshing dip in Cranberry Lake and then head back towards the village for a snack at one of the local businesses. Up for a bit more adventure? Try the 12km loop from the village out Simpson Road and turn right onto Back Street. This route will take you through farm area and a canopy of trees. In the spring you can spot wild trilliums along the roadside. |
