Red Canoefest

We are getting ready for an exciting day on June 1. Check out the activities below:

8am A Grab N Go Breakfast will be served by the Legion Ladies Auxiliary at the legion
9am Children’s Free Fishing Derby organized by Big Jim and Tammy and their Bass Pro Fishing buddies.
Children must wear a life jacket, bring a fishing rod and an adult and fish off the Municipal docks.

Nutritional snacks will be provided By Dr Dodie Elkins and SBARA.
Open for children of all ages.
9am (Launch Time) The Silent Poker Run will take place on the water, bring your canoes, kayaks and proper safety gear. Registration is $20 per person by clicking here.
Collect cards at local waterway stations and the best poker hands will win one of three great prizes donated by local businesses.
Additional cards can be purchased at the end of the race.
9am –noon An open house of the ROLL Aid Foodbanks new digs ( the grey trailer across from the legion)
10:30am - Thank You Recognition presentation will take place at the grey trailer.
Noon - BBQ Hamburgers and Hotdogs will be sold at the legion.
There will also be Corn hole games set up for people to test their skills.
There will be a bin for donations of non-perishable products or cash donations for the food bank located at the docks and by the Food Bank building.
